What We Do
The Construction Design and Management (CDM) Regulations provide construction legislation around health and safety, from the initial stages of a project through to completion. The Building Safety Act (BSA) introduced a gateway regime for higher risk buildings in 2022 to raise safety standards of all buildings.
Gateway 1 focuses on obtaining planning permission by demonstrating the proposed design meets necessary safety requirements.
Gateway 2 involves inspections during construction to verify adherence to proposed plans.

The Building Regulations Principle Designer (BRPD) is a statutory appointment, mandatory when there is more than one contractor.
