The material palette takes inspiration from neighbouring buildings in the immediate vicinity of the site including brick, clay tiles, render, timber and uPVC cladding; as well as from the locally admired Ditchling Museum, which features a contemporary tile hanging that continues into a pitched roof. The Ditchling Museum is within a mile of the site, to the east.
Planning Permission was granted in March 2023 and excellent progress is being made on site.
