We have the opportunity for three Revit Technicians or Architects to join its growing team in Brighton.

We are offering a signing bonus for the most creative, successful application. 

The successful candidates will have the opportunity to be key members of the technical division of our growing practice, working on a range of diverse projects. LRA Retinue is RIBA Chartered, award winning and has an excellent track record in taking concepts through the planning process to completion. We create beautiful, inspiring and successful outcomes for our clients via our fresh, ethical approach to architecture and passion for design.

Our growing and ambitious practice is based in Brighton and works throughout the UK and internationally. Projects span a range of industry sectors; from bespoke private homes to residential development, education & arts, leisure & hospitality, civic, mixed-use & commercial (including retail), master-planning, listed buildings and restoration.

The studio is friendly, open and approachable with a team of dedicated architects, technicians and designers with high professional standards. 

 

Qualities:

  • You are able to meet deadlines and manage your own workload, often navigating multiple work streams by prioritising effectively.
  • You can support junior members within the team, and be proactive in improving systems and processes where necessary.
 

Skills:

  • Experience: You are proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software, with at least 5 years professional experience. You have a strong attention to detail and ability to accurately interpret technical drawings. You have a track record of fostering strong, productive relationships with clients and other stakeholders. Ideally you can evidence working on projects at every stage, including contract administration. You have knowledge of engineering principles and construction methods. 
  • Creativity: Your portfolio and application demonstrates examples of technical detailing and creative concepts. You are able to produce outstanding 3D visualisations and ideally also communicate your ideas with hand drawn sketches or hand crafted models.
  • Communication: You have excellent communication skills and are not afraid to speak up. You have excellent command of the English language, allowing you to build a rapport with clients, colleagues and members of the wider team. You can assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations.
  • Software: You are proficient in Revit and AutoCAD software, able to create detailed technical drawings and collaborate with others to develop and modify designs. You can ensure accuracy of drawings, including dimensions materials and specifications. You are able to maintain organised files and documentation.
