Alan joined the practice in 2021 and has a strong track record designing residential projects from bespoke single houses to major 100+ unit residential schemes.
This has included obtaining consents for houses deemed exemplary in meeting the very demanding criteria of NPPF Paragraph 80.
Whilst at LRA-R Alan has been involved in numerous predominantly residential projects. This has included designing the masterplan and being instrumental in obtaining consent for the major redevelopment of the former Eye Infirmary site in Wolverhampton – including two healthcare uses, conversion of two listed buildings and design of a new mixed use commercial/residential corner building on a very prominent corner site in the city.
Outside work Alan enjoys family life, grows onions, leeks, broad beans and purple sprouting broccoli, and occasionally gets out on the South Downs soaring his paraglider, circling skyward with Buzzards and Red Kites.
